A Picture-Perfect Proposal in Japan
The couple’s journey to the altar began in one of the most picturesque places on Earth—Mt. Fuji, Japan. While admiring the panoramic view at a lookout, Ash asked Alex to turn around so he could snap a photo. When she turned back to face him, he was down on one knee, ring in hand, ready to capture the most unforgettable moment of all.
The Gown That Glammed the Day
Alex discovered Belle et Blanc while exploring bridal boutiques on Sydney Road and instantly felt drawn to the luxurious collection. One particular gown, adorned in intricate beading and a striking neckline, captured her attention.
“I was unsure about the neckline at first—it was so different to what I’d usually choose,” Alex shared. “But no other dress compared. I kept thinking about that one.”
The fitting process involved several alterations, but with the guidance and care of the Belle et Blanc team, the journey to her dream dress was seamless. “On my wedding day I felt so glamorous,” Alex recalls. “It was absolutely the perfect dress for me.”
A Day to Remember
With the sun eventually shining bright over the sand and sea, Alex and Ash exchanged vows against the backdrop of a glistening ocean. The ceremony and reception both took place at Harbour Room St Kilda, styled with gorgeous blooms by FlowerWorks Florist, and accompanied by heartfelt video and photo moments from Single Soul Photography.

Reflecting on the day, Alex says, “It couldn’t have turned out any better. We had a wedding by the beach, and the sunny weather made everything feel even more special.”
