The Proposal

Their journey to “I do” began during a magical holiday in Hawaii. As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues, the couple shared a quiet moment on the rocks. Later that evening, as they strolled through gardens adorned with fairy lights, Dean got down on one knee and asked Bianca to be his forever. “It was the absolute best,” she recalls. A moment straight from a fairytale.

An Intimate Elopement in Lake Como

Choosing to elope overseas, Bianca and Dean tied the knot at the breathtaking Villa del Balbianello—an iconic spot nestled on the shores of Lake Como. Surrounded by sweeping views and historic charm, their ceremony was the epitome of timeless romance.

Opting for intimacy over tradition, the couple described the day as deeply personal and unforgettable. “Our day felt so special and intimate. If you’re thinking about it, just do it! You’ll have no regrets.”

The Dress of Her Dreams

Bianca found her gown at Belle et Blanc, after being recommended by the Melbourne Brides Facebook Group. “It took me about three shops before I found the one,” she shares. “I remember trying it on and I started crying… and so did Mum!”

While the fitting journey wasn’t without its challenges, Bianca speaks glowingly of her experience:

“The alteration process was a rollercoaster. It needed a lot of changes from what had arrived in-store. Amelia from Belle et Blanc was an actual angel. She ensured the dress was absolutely perfect for me and made the experience incredible.”

Her advice to future brides?

“It’s okay if the dress isn’t perfect at your first fitting—just trust the process and be open and honest!”
