Cassandra and Nicholas finally tied the knot after three reschedules over a two year period on the 12th November 2021 at the picturesque Cleveland Winery in Lancefield.

Cassandra and Nicholas had been together for 11 years and she wasn’t expecting the proposal at all. Nicholas had planned a little ruse and told Cassandra they both needed to attend a business meeting in the city in Melbourne. He took her out to dinner at a beautiful restaurant and soon, Cassandra realised there was no business dinner and when Nicholas asked her to marry him, Cassandra did not believe him until she saw the ring and began to cry, how romantic!

The wedding day was such a special day for both Cassandra and Nicholas and even though there was torrential rain, it made the surrounding all the more magical and special as you can tell from the photographs below. Rain in some cultures in considered good luck on your wedding day and the couple certainly didn’t let the rain spoil their mood. They were surrounded by all their friends and family in the stunning backdrop of the Cleveland Winery in Lancefield and Cassandra tells us, “Nicolas and I have been together for 13 years and in 2012 like many couples we had to postpone our wedding day due to Covid. On November 12th when our day finally arrived and even though it was raining, I wouldn’t change a thing. I will forever cherish this day for the rest of my life and thank you to everyone who made it happen.”

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Cassandra’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Estelle II’ wedding dress. Cassandra tells us, “I felt 100% confident that this was my gown that I would wear on my wedding day. I wasn’t sure what kind of dress I wanted and the ladies at Belle et Blanc picked the Estelle II gown out for me as the first one to try on and so I fell in love with it as soon as I tried it on.”

We are so thankful to Cassandra and Nicholas, and feel so honoured Cassandra picked Belle et Blanc to be part of their day, and we absolutely love the photographs.
