Lynn & Hon

Lynn and Hon tied the knot on the 10th December, 2022 at the picturesque Levantine Hill winery in the Yarra Valley. The winery is state of the art; from the boutonnière to the breathtaking views of the stunning backdrop of the Yarra Valley, every detail at Levantine Hill is flawless.

Lynn tells us how Hon skillfully orchestrated a secret proposal, “On December 2020, the long-awaited moment arrived when the Victorian government finally lifted the restrictions. It was during this time that Hon revealed to me his plans for a short trip to the Grampians. He cleverly devised a plan to build anticipation, including arranging a delightful lunch before embarking on a hiking adventure. To ensure my trust in his intentions, he even crafted a fabricated email confirmation for our accommodation booking.

On the designated day, we indulged in a delectable meal at the scenic Lake House Daylesford. Our enjoyment led us to consume copious amounts of drinks, resulting in Hon’s need for a visit to the restroom as we left the restaurant. He suggested stopping by Hepburn, informing me that he would enquire about restroom facilities. After a considerable wait, curiosity led me to venture down from the car in search of him, only to find him waiting at the reception. To my astonishment, he ushered me into a luxurious villa, which left me utterly surprised. How could someone graciously grant us access to their accommodations solely for restroom use?”

Lynn continues, “Unbeknownst to me, Hon had booked the accommodation well in advance, skillfully orchestrating a romantic setting with flowers, balloons, and heart-shaped petals meticulously arranged upon the bed. With anticipation mounting, he kneeled down on one knee and nervously asked me to be his partner for life. I could hear the rapid beat of his heart, causing a mixture of joy and laughter to bubble within me!”

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Lynn’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Rosalyn’ wedding dress, a gorgeous fit and flare gown in sumptuous antique satin. Lynn tells us, “In my mind, I always envisioned a wedding dress as a grand ball gown adorned with sparkling embellishments, however my first visit to Belle et Blanc completely changed my perspective. It was there that I was introduced to the elegant and timeless ‘Rosalyn’ gown, by the lovely bridal consultant Olivia. Being inherently indecisive, I found myself in need of considerable assistance during the dress selection process. Olivia and Donna displayed exceptional patience and dedication as they guided me through multiple appointments. Their unwavering support ultimately led me to confidently utter the words “Yes” to dress. To complement my gown, I also purchased a pearl and crystal veil from Belle et Blanc, which flawlessly complemented my overall bridal look. 

The wedding day for Lynn and Hon was such a wonderful day, accompanied by their nearest and dearest friends and family. Lynn tells us, “Although our wedding day was filled with busyness, we were immensely grateful for the support and involvement of our cherished families and friends. It truly became an unforgettable day, one that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. What made it even more meaningful was the fact that all our family members traveled from overseas to be a part of this joyous occasion. It was a long-awaited reunion, the first time in a while that our entire family could gather together after the pandemic.”
