Mary & David

Mary and David say their “I do’s” at St George and St Mary Macedonian Orthodox Church on the 3rd November 2019 and the reception was held at the gorgeous Lakeside banquet and convention centre. 

David planned his proposal to Mary in Southbank by the Yarra river before they had dinner at The Meat & Wine Co. Mary had no idea David was ready to propose that night as they had been there on a previous date night. They arrived at dinner early and David suggested a walk along the river, they sat down on a chair and David got down on bended knee and asked the all important question. Mary cried like a baby and could barely eat her romantic dinner afterwards. Mary tells us “It was definitely a night to remember.”

On the wedding day Mary felt completely calm, Mary tells us “normally I stress, but everything felt just right.” On the other hand, David who is usually the calm one, was a ball of nerves. David was the one who was late to the church, but once David saw Mary at the church he became calm and knew the day would be perfect and the celebrations began. Mary tells us, their wedding day was “such a fun day and everything turned out perfectly, we would do it all again in heartbeat.”                           

Belle et Blanc ‘Mary’ came into our bridal store and picked out the absolutely stunning ‘Vanessa’ wedding dress in ‘Blush’ colour. We are so thankful to Mary & David, and  feel so honoured Mary picked Belle et Blanc to be part of their day, and we absolutely love the photographs!
