Niki and Sam

Niki and Sam tied the knot on the 27th January 2024 at Saint Ignatius Church in Richmond, followed by their reception at Luminare. Quintessentially Melbourne, Luminare is an exquisite rooftop event space accessible via a secret laneway. It offers uninterrupted, breathtaking city views and stunning sunsets, creating an unparalleled atmosphere for any event. 

Sam had a romantic proposal in store for Niki which took her breath away. Niki tells us, “Sam and I have been together for 7 years. In 2021, we bought a block of land that we built our first home on. The day we got the keys was the day he proposed to me. He set up the lounge room with a heart of roses, and had balloons and a sign asking if I would marry him.”

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Niki’ picked the ‘Macy‘ A-line wedding gown, with lace and beading. “Niki tells us how she came to choose her beautiful gown, “The ladies at Belle et Blanc were very accommodating, kind, and very friendly to talk to, which made the fitting process very easy and smooth. I choose a made to measure gown which was made specifically for my body, and fit me like a glove, the quality and the design were perfection.”

The wedding day was such a wonderful day, accompanied by their nearest and dearest friends and family. Niki tells us, “Our wedding day was absolutely amazing! The vibe was fantastic, guests had the best time and the support from our parents and the bridal party really made our day so special. One memory that will always make me laugh; we were up a flight of stairs taking photos with a city view in the background, when the wind picked up and my veil went flying off the stairs for my bridesmaids to catch!”
