Victoria & Tony

Victoria & Tony say ‘I do’ at the beautiful St Haralambos’ Greek Orthodox Church and had their reception at the trendy Encore in StKilda, on the 8th February 2020.

Victoria & Tony are a true modern day love story. The proposal happened in Lorne which is where Victoria’s family’s holiday house is and has always held a special place in her heart. She tells us “We went down for a weekend with friends, however the friends had car trouble and never came! They were in on it and were never planning to join us. My husband proposed near the beach on our way to lunch.”

Their wedding day was perfect and an absolute dream come true. They got married in a traditional church setting at St Harlabo’s Greek Orthodox Church and later had the reception at the trendy Encore St Kilda. Victoria tells us “Our wedding day was honestly perfect. We had so much fun, we danced all night. All our families and friends speeches made us cry. We had a big Greek entrances dancing in and kept that energy going the whole night.”

Victoria told us a funny incident that happened on her wedding day, as she tells us, “My shoes made my feet hurt and I didn’t have a back up, I rang my parents on the way to the reception begging them to find a back up. However nothing was open, apart from the pharmacies, also had nothing. I thought I’d have to be in pain all night but then my dad had a great idea. He had brought white sneakers to wear the next day, his a size 8 men’s and I’m a size 10 women’s, so I wore my dads sneakers! I got so many compliments on what a great idea it was! Little did they know it wasn’t meant to happen!”

Belle et Blanc ‘Victoria’ came into our bridal store and picked out the absolutely stunning ‘Sandra’ wedding dress. Victoria tells us, “It was a coincidence how I found Belle et Blanc. My mum and I had finished early at another store and a dress caught my eye in your window. We came in to try it on and instantly I knew that was my dress.”  

We are so thankful to Victoria and Tony, and  feel so honoured Victoria picked Belle et Blanc to be part of their day, and we absolutely love the photographs!
