Wedding Hair
There are days where you have a bad hair day. Your wedding day is a day not to happen. So what can you do to be prepared? Here we have listed a few things to guide you.
Must do for hair
- Must have a hair trial. This is a must before your big day. Ensure you have a wedding hair trial at least 6 weeks prior to your wedding day. In this trial session, you should have at least 3 different hairstyles. Make sure you bring photos along with you on the day on what you want and what you don’t want
- Don’t be afraid to speak up. Make sure you express what you want to your hair stylist and ask them what they think will look good on you. Explain to them what kind of wedding you are having.
- Be open to what is suggested. It is only a hair trial so you don’t know what looks good or bad until you have it done. You may be surprised on what actually looks good!
- Take pictures. Bring your bridesmaid along with you. Make sure pictures are taken from every angle. The goal is to make every angle the best angle as you will be photographed on the day.
- Make sure you wear a button shirt for your hair trial. This ensures you can try on your dress afterwards to make sure your hair goes with the dress.
Must not do for hair
- Don’t assume that your hairstylist has done great hair on many brides before that you don’t need a trial. Each girl is different. Each wedding is different. You want to minimize any hiccups on the day so make sure you have a trial!
- Don’t assume that your hair stylist knows what you want. What you say may be interpreted differently. Make sure you bring pictures to show them!
- Don’t assume all hair styles will suit all gowns. If you are wearing a strapless gown, a full updo may make it too bare.
Overall make sure you are well prepared before your big day!
