Meg & Ben

Meg and Ben tied the knot on the 26th August 2022. They were married at Bramleigh Estate, which is nestled on 10 acres of natural Warrandyte bushland. Bramleigh Estate is a luxury escape for a private, intimate wedding with family and friends.

Meg shares with us the romantic way Ben proposed to her, and it involved hiking, something they both love to do. “Ben proposed to me in Marysville on a hike. We walked to Keppels lookout, when we got there, he made us stay there for so long! It made me a bit suspicious as he kept saying there were so many people, but there was literally only one other couple or group of people coming and going. He was waiting for there to be no one there. He eventually must have decided he was never going to have the place to himself, so he proposed!”

The wedding day for Meg and Ben was such a wonderful day, it was everything they had wished for and more; filled with family, love and joy. Meg tells us, “When people say it’s the best day of your life, I never really understood. But it is genuinely the best day! You’re surrounded by everyone who you adore, and you get to celebrate with them. It goes by so fast and just wish we could do it all again!”

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Meg’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Anika’ elegant wedding dress, a gorgeous fit and flare, v-neck bridal gown in beautiful antique lace. Meg tells us, “I used to walk past Belle et Blanc as I lived in the area, so when my wedding came around, I had a reason to go in! Every gown I tried on I had already loved so much more than the other dress shops I had trialed. They were all beautiful. I had amazing help from my bridal consultant, Sara.

Meg continues, “Sara made the whole experience such a fun and enjoyable time. She was able to pick dresses that would flatter my body shape and able to tell me why a certain dress shape, or material was more flattering than others. She would also give me honest opinions! If something didn’t look good, she didn’t pretend it did, which I loved. But ultimately I picked the Anika gown as I loved the beads and the antique lace detailing on the fabric. I loved my dress, I felt amazing on the day, comfortable and like a really glamorous version of myself.”

Meg shares how she felt in the fitting process and making her dream gown come to life. “The ladies at Belle et Blanc are all amazing and so accommodating. Even my last minute requests within the last week prior to my wedding, they went above and beyond to make it happen. I couldn’t be more grateful for their help and I could tell they genuinely cared.

We are so thankful to Meg and Ben, and feel so honoured Meg picked Belle et Blanc to be part of their day, and we absolutely love the photographs.
