Dilara and Kristian

Dilara and Kristian tied the knot on the 6th August 2022 at Pullman Hotel and Resort in tropical Port Douglas. The ceremony was held at Pullman’s private beach followed by the reception at the Pullman Lagoon Terrace. Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa offers a private, sophisticated venue unlike any other. Located on nearly ten acres of tropical beachfront between the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest, the 5-star luxury resort provides an exquisite tropical setting for a dream wedding reception in paradise.

Dilara shares with us how Kristian took her by surprise when he proposed to her, “My husband booked out the private library in Chateau Yering, filling the library with balloons, roses and tea light candles, followed by a special high tea waiting for us. He booked our very own private tour around the Chateau leaving the library as the last surprise. He then got on one knee and proposed. We popped a bottle of Champagne while enjoying our high tea to celebrate! It was the most magical surprise for me and so romantic.”

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Dilara’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Calia’ wedding dress, a gorgeous fit and flare, strapless gown in beautiful textured lace. Dilara tells us, “I always knew I wanted a wedding dress that was timeless with lots of beading. As soon as I tried on this dress I was sold. It fit me like a glove. I also fell in love with the train on the Calia gown, it’s so detailed and in the shape of a heart. It’s gorgeous! My wedding dress is actually the first thing I bought before I planned or booked anything else. Once I tried on the dress for the first time that’s when the reality of me getting married really sunk in!

The wedding day for Dilara and Kristian was such a wonderful day, accompanied with their nearest and dearest friends and family, filled with memories they will cherish together. Dilara tells us, “My husband and I knew we wanted a destination wedding somewhere tropical. We also knew we wanted a two day wedding and we absolutely fell in LOVE with the Pullman Sea Temple Resort & Spa, Port Douglas when we went to look at the venue. Everything turned out so magical, our wedding was something out of a dream. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world. I felt like an absolute goddess in my wedding dress. I loved the way my dress glistened under the sun!”
