Jennifer and Andrew tied the knot on the 6th November 2022 at the picturesque Olinda Yarra Estate, a truly magical estate which provides a unique experience surrounded by acres of space, botanical gardens grazing pastures, historic railway bridges and friendly farm and native animals.

Belle et Blanc bride ‘Jennifer’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Mackenzie’ wedding dress, a gorgeous fit and flare gown, with intricate textured hand beading and lace. I’d looked at a few other Bridal shops prior to Belle Et Blanc and was feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the different options I had tried on. I had narrowed down the fit I liked, but none of the dresses I had tried on had all of the elements I wanted. One weekend I woke up one morning and called one of my bridesmaids and we decided to go on a totally unplanned mission to Brunswick and just look around. It turned out that not many shops were open on the day we went, but Belle et Blanc was. I was lucky to be able to sneak in to try on a few dresses with the help of the lovely Amelia as she had half an hour between appointments. When I put on the Mackenzie, I knew I had found something special and ended up arranging to come back another day with my Mum to get another opinion. It was such a flattering fit and had so many details that really gave it that ‘wow’ factor. The back detail, the glitter and the pearl beading to name a few. Amelia and the ladies at Belle Et Blanc were fantastic throughout the dress-fitting process and were exceedingly friendly and helpful along the way.

The day we got married was actually our 16 year anniversary, yes.. I waited a long time! Andy had proposes the year before on the same day so we knew we wanted to try and stick to the same date if we could – which luckily landed on a Sunday. In the weeks preceding our wedding day, Melbourne had been experiencing massive torrential rainfall and flooding, so we were pretty nervous about how that might impact us. It turned out we were incredibly fortunate and we were lucky enough to get. beautiful weekend. I remember waking up to the most incredible sunrise from the balcony of my cabin at Yering Cottages and seeing the most incredible sunrise, complete with kangaroos hopping right outside. It was picture-perfect! As you can probably see from our photos, we are proud dog parents and it was super important to us to include our golden retriever Sunny in our celebrations. She was the ring bearer in the ceremony and even had her own vows. We had her give a high five instead of saying “I do”.
