Katreena & Kalvin
Katreena & Kalvin tied the knot on the 23rd September 2023 at Saint Brendan’s Catholic Church in Flemington. They had the reception at Sheldon Reception, who have over 20 years of experience, and help to create that picture-perfect wedding you have always wanted.
Kalvin wanted to take Katreena completely by surprise when he proposed to her one cold winter day in Melbourne. Katreena tells us,” It was a chilly winter Sunday of 2022. I had just finished a cozy dinner with my sister and sister-in-law in my comfiest attire, with no inclination to dress up. As I made my way home, all I could think of was a quiet evening of relaxation. But as I opened the door, I was welcomed by hundreds of petals and candles on the floor guiding me towards the backyard. Then I saw him beside the ‘Will You Marry Me’ sign with a violin and saxophone playing in the background. I was utterly speechless, swept up in a whirlwind of emotions. All I can recall is the moment he knelt before me, surrounded by our families, and asked for my hand in marriage. Without hesitation, I said yes! At that very instant, it felt like I was floating on air, a mix of joy, love, and sheer disbelief. It was a proposal straight out of a dream, a memory I will cherish forever.
Belle et Blanc bride ‘Katreena’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Macy’ wedding dress, a gorgeous A-line gown with a shimmering glitter underlay, and beaded lace straps. Katreena tells us, “I came into Belle et Blanc as I actually heard about Belle et Blanc from a friend who had a fantastic experience there. They highly recommended it, so I decided to check it out for myself. It was actually my bridal consultant Anna who found my wedding dress for me. She just asked me the style that I wanted, then when I tried it on for the first time, I fell in love with it straight away. As others have said, I felt beautiful in it. I couldn’t believe that the second dress I tried on could be the winner. Nothing compared to that dress. It held the magic of a thousand dreams come true. The girls at Belle et Blanc were so lovely and accommodating to my wishes for the dress. Thank-you so much for a truly wonderful experience!”
The wedding day for Katreena & Kalvin was such a wonderful day, accompanied with their nearest and dearest friends and family, filled with memories they will cherish together. Katreena tells us, “The day was absolutely magical. While there were moments of stress and anticipation, seeing everything come together made it all worth it in the end. It was a day filled with love, joy, and beautiful memories.”
