Rebekah & Harris
Rebekah & Harris tied the knot on the 8th September 2023 at the picturesque Riverstone Estate, a truly magical estate and a hidden gem of the Yarra Valley, with unquestionably the best views in the area. The stunning wedding venue and restaurant is located on part of a 75-acre vineyard and farm set on the banks of the Yarra River, amid Melbourne’s famous Yarra Valley wine country.
Harris had a surprise proposal in mind for Rebekah which happened to fall on her birthday. Rebekah tells us, “It was my 28th birthday on the 24th September 2022 and Harry had taken me away for the weekend to the intercontinental in Sorrento, we went out for a very nice dinner and I was hoping he would pop the question, but nothing. We then went for ice cream and a walk along the water – still nothing. Then we finally went back to our room and I thought maybe he wasn’t proposing and then he said he one more present for me and pulled out the ring!”
Belle et Blanc bride ‘Rebekah’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Mackenzie’ wedding dress, a gorgeous A-line gown, with intricate textured hand beading and lace. “I saw an Instagram advertisement for the Mackenzie and I screenshot it – not thinking Belle et Blanc was in Melbourne. After going to a few bridal shops, I never had ‘the dress’ moment. So I googled Belle et Blanc and saw it was in Melbourne and then saw there was a sample sale on that weekend. I tried the Mackenzie on and it was perfect!”
The wedding day for Rebekah & Harris was such a wonderful day, accompanied with their nearest and dearest friends and family. The day didn’t go exactly as planned due to the rain, but our couple made to most of their venue which had an indoor option and looked just as beautiful. Rebekah tells us, “I was very calm on the day, even after finding out we couldn’t do the outdoor ceremony we dreamed about because of the rain, I was just so excited to marry Harry. A funny moment was tossing of the bouquet, my cousin basically lunged at the bouquet – no one else had a chance.”
