Stephanie & Jake
Stephanie & Jake tied the knot on the 18th September 2022 at the Dormition of Our Lady Geeek Orthodox Church and had the reception at the contemporary Bells Hotel in South Melbourne.
Stephanie & Jake and had met through mutual friends at the age of 18 and 19. They waited until after high school to pursue their relationship. On her 25th birthday, Stephanie was surprised with the best gift she could have ever asked for. The afternoon started with a horse and carriage ride through Melbourne where eventually they arrived at the Lady Janet Clarke rotunda in the Queen Victoria Gardens. As Stephanie got off the carriage, Jake walked towards her on a trail of rose petals and that’s when she realised what was happening. Stephanie tells us, “All I could think about was that the day I had been waiting for, was finally here and how incredible the proposal set up was. I don’t remember much else, other than finally saying ‘YES’ to my best friend of 7 years.”
Belle et Blanc bride ‘Stephanie’ came into our bridal store and picked out the stunning ‘Bianca’ wedding dress, a gorgeous fit and flare gown, with intricate pearl and sequin beading. Stephanie tells us, “I felt perfect in my Bianca gown! It was the first dress I drew my eyes towards. The fittings were perfectly spread out and I was able to collect my dress way before the wedding day.”
The wedding day for Stephanie & Jake was such a wonderful day, accompanied with their nearest and dearest friends and family, filled with memories they will cherish together. Stephanie tells us, “We had planned to get married in Greece within the following two years of our engagement but unfortunately, Covid didn’t allow that to happen. So instead we decided to have our wedding here, in Melbourne with 120 of our closest family and friends. It was a day we will never forget!”
